I use these for indoors only; ever since my double foot surgery, I have worn slippers; these are in a separate category from "slippers"; they are soft, cushion my feet, and easy to take off and on. I had a pair a few years ago and the fur on the toe area wore out before any other part of the ascot.

I like almost everything about this slipper - I like the style, the crafting and the comfort, too, except it's a tad on the small size. It's a little tight getting into with bare feet. It feels good once it's on, but I couldn't wear any socks with it.
