Because our son is a special needs adult shoes are an issue for him. Got his first pair last winter, he still wears them but the lining had bunched up. When I was told this pair had a softer sole I was excited about that. When he goes out and the ground is wet these keep his feet dry. I like the new style better then the other pair with the black and white trim around the shoe top. Still would like to see a softer more flexable sold available in this type shoe. I like the fact they are cleanable. Don't like it that the black lining fades when damp.

We remove our shoes upon entry into our home so house shoes are the norm. Additionally I cannot bear to walk barefoot without it being painful so all of my footwear is well cushioned or with vibram or vibram-like soles. This is my 2nd pair of Neumans: they are absolutely comfortable, the sole is thick and protective, the lambswool like inside are both comfortable and breathable, and if you care to were them out they will withstand that too. My only disappointment is that IF you get some kind of stain on the surface, its going to be there until the end.

If these are meant to be worn barefoot, which I believe they are....., then it should be mentioned that they turn your feet completely black. They are comfortable, but have been a disappointment.

My husband got UGGs last Christmas and wore them every day. The interior sheepskin compacted and made a lump inside. I called the company before the year was up and ask to buy insoles. They sent him a new pair as a free replacement. WOW-they really do stand behind their products.
