How to use the UGG Australia Sheepskin Protector

Please treat sheepskin and suede footwear with UGG Australia Sheepskin Protector prior to wearing to avoid any initial staining. Strictly follow the instructions below when applying the product to avoid any damage during the application process.

1. Spray the sheepskin surface with UGG Australia Sheepskin Protector evenly until it appears wet, but NOT soaked
2. Let the boots dry naturally for AT LEAST 24 hours. DO NOT dry in direct heat OR sunlight
3. Lightly brush in ONE direction with a VERY soft bristle suede/nubuck brush to raise the nap and natural tracking.



Please note, that when used properly – UGG Australia protector with a suede/nubuck brush will help to prevent, remove and reduce stains and raise the nap and natural tracking of the material.

Like any fine garment, sheepskin is delicate and not all stains can be prevented or removed. With proper care and cleaning, you can expect your footwear to last longer, but we in no way guarantee that it will remove all stains NOR prevent stains from occurring.

How to use UGG Australia Sheepskin Cleaner and Conditioner

1. Hand wash only. Do NOT use a washing machine.
2. Moisten sheepskin footwear with clean, COLD water.
3. Apply a small amount of cleaner to damp sponge. Gently scrub to clean the entire area. Sheepskin has a delicate surface which can be damaged by aggressive scrubbing or by direct application of the product poured onto the surface.
4. Rinse clean in clean/cold water or continuing to clean out a sponge to remove the cleaner from the product.
5. Lightly stuff with paper to hold the shape while the product dries.
6. Allow to dry naturally and slowly. Do NOT dry in direct heat or sunlight.
7. Once footwear is dry, lightly brush with a very soft suede/nubuck brush in ONE direction only.

How to clean Mongolian Sheepskin

To clean the Mongolian sheepskin – lightly moisten the boots with cool water and gently wash with a mild detergent such as the UGG cleaner or Woolite. Rinse with cool, clean water and allow to air dry away from direct sunlight. Once dry, very gently brush the boots with a fine suede brush to bring back the nap. To maintain the shape, stuff your boots with paper while cleaning and drying. To clean the longer wool around the cuff, gently run a WIDE tooth hair pick through each strand.

We do not recommend dry cleaning your UGG Australia footwear as chemicals and high heat may cause deformation or destruction. However, long wool rugs may be dry cleaned.
