Please note that in order to write a review I had to choose a size and width rating and I chose "fits true to size" but it's not true or correct! my comments fall on both sides of the scale (i.e. the shoes fit too wide and too tight at the same time!)

But how can that be possible? It is possible because I had ordered two sizes for two colors (the red and the blue). The reviews I read made it difficult for me to know which size to get because I do have wide and thick feet. I normally wear a 9.5 (very very rarely a 9 depending on the shoes).

So since a lot of reviews said that the shoes fit larger than expected I was still nervous to get only the 9. So when I ordered my shoes I got a 9 and 9.5 in both red and blue because I fell in love with them online :) But I knew I was going to return the two that don't fit back and keep the ones that do.

This is what I found when I got my delivery:

The red shoes had very smooth and more flexible fabric and HONESTLY both sizes fit the same!!! I had to look at their size stamps several times to make sure no mistake was made at shipping! But the bottom line is that the red ones fit my foot size and were really beautiful, a snug fit and comfortable (I haven't walked in them out yet). It is worth mentioning, like some reviewers said too, that the back of the shoe around the heel and ankle is a little on the wider side even for my larger feet with these red ones. Which one did I keep you ask? I kept the 9.5 since I was mentally comfortable knowing that it is my usual size. I returned the size 9.

The blue shoes on the other hand...I am very sad to say I had to return both of them for the following reasons. First of all, both the 9 and 9.5 were of very tough and not flexible blue fabric that hurt to even try them on while seated! Yes, different colors/leather/material do fit differently with any kind of shoe you are trying on. It's a fact; and same with jeans and so on. The real problem with the blue sandals was that I could not get my foot in either size without a struggle :( I loved the color though but as soon as I was able to try one on and off again the top my feet had tight strap marks on them because of how tight they were. Both the 9 and 9.5 went back.

The red shoes had a great cushion though....I can't wait to go out and wear them with everything...pants, dress, skirt you name it. If you really like the shoes like I do don't give up on the first pair/size/color you try on....check different ones out. Good luck!

This is THE shoes!!!! fits very comfortable, I can wear it all day and night. You can pair it with jeans of dress, wear it casual or for occasion. Planning to get another one!

I went to a store and i fell in love as soon as i saw them... Had to buy them and the best part is that they are very comfy... i really recommend them !!!

Super cute and comfy sandal. However, if you have thin/small ankles
The ankle strap, even at its smallest might still be too large.
